Solidarity for Integrated and Sustainable Development (SISD) is a national, non-profit humanitarian and development organization established in December 2010 and registered in Ethiopia.

SISD works to address structural and immediate challenges affecting vulnerable and underserved populations, particularly pastoral and agro-pastoral communities. The organization delivers integrated, community-driven interventions that reduce poverty, strengthen resilience, and promote inclusive and sustainable development.

Through strong partnerships with government institutions, communities, civil society, and development partners, SISD implements accountable, evidence-based, and high-impact programs.

As a nationally registered civil society organization, SISD is expanding its operations into neighboring regions, focusing on woredas adjacent to Afar with similar socio-economic and climate vulnerabilities:
